Barney is the teacher....
Barney is extremely good with Dottie, and has taught her to run on the beach, without the lead on....and she comes back to her mum okay.
I can't leave William out of this blogpost.
(He does try to avoid Dottie at the moment, she is obviously lively and we think William's old legs hurt him, hence we will often find him in another room and out of her way).
On this occasion, they were hoping for some treats.

How lovely to see the two youngsters running around together and Dottie's tail wagging like fury. Poor William, he's an old man and the young one will be too lively for him. He has a sensible head on his shoulders.
Barney and Dottie are so cute running around on the beach! They could almost be siblings, they look so much alike.
I know William and Dottie got treats for looking so hungry!
Eileen....yes, it is fun seeing them playing together. We didn't think Barney would show a 'caring' side (not that he plays roughly or anything), but he hasn't been used to puppies. Barney certainly has become the teacher.
Sue...I know, they do look so similar don't they....a Big version and a Small version, LOL.

there I've been thinking Barney is still just a puppy...
and seeing Dottie running with him I see how much he's grown!
and my own sweet William! he just gets Better with age. XOXO
Tammy....It was worth waiting for Tammy, lol ;) Likewise, we think of Barney as a puppy, but he looked so 'grown up' compared to little Dottie ♡
