Scribbles

I added this image to facebook the other day, and so many people recognised the lad.  I was surprised honestly, because it really was a load of scribbles

later I added a splash of watercolour .....for me, it shows up better now as the lad

the sketching didn't stop there.

Next sketch is William waiting to see where we are going - will it be out in the car.
He still loves a drive, and relaxes on the back seat til his servants walk him around the park.

When it's sunny and warm enough he doesn't wear his fleece coat,
but other times he quite happily wears it...

often with such a smug look on his face.  Or do I imagine that!  ;)

I've always loved your sketches of William and all his expressions you capture so well.

Of course everyone recognized William! He is quite the sketching subject, isn't he?! And you draw him so well, Ann.

these are Wonderful!
it's always amazing to me how you 'capture' his very essence ...
with only a few lines. to me a sign of a true artist.
I'm not on facebook. but it sounds as though you and he have many fans!
please hug him for me. gently of course! he's loved by us all! XOXO

Thanks Sue……and Thanks Tammy…..so sorry I was slow adding your comments here. We have had a hectic few days and I didn’t have time to get back to my blogs! … I feel bad for that, really I do. And Tammy, William has had a gentle hug from you ❤️
