Reminded of this sketch

Facebook reminders pop up and this one gave me a welcome laugh....Yes, William still does this.  Poorly legs or not, the lad will still assert his opinion and waiting for a drink of milk is one of them.   You wouldn't believe the number of times I have to retrieve the bowl as it flies across the kitchen floor!

Well, if his humans were more on the ball he wouldn't have to! Hahahahahaha! :D

what one swipe of the Paw can do!
I have wondered how you all are doing.
I've been thinking of each one of you! XO

PS It occurs to me that without the added information of seeing my expression and hearing my tone of voice my original comment might come off as snarky.....I didn't mean it that way. I meant 'humans' in the royal WE kind of way. I'll sit down now......

I don't think I've seen that sketch before, it's so funny.
I'm kinda glad William is still as demanding as ever...he keeps you on your toes :-)

Robin….We are dreadful parents 🤣……..you weren’t snarky at all my friend - I know exactly what you say about writing something and people can’t hear the tone of voice 🙂👍🙃

Tammy…Thank you so much. The pain of losing little Hamish still stings, but acclimatising to the fact is gradually getting there. He will always be missed, as with our other dogs over the years. ❤️

Eileen….Thanks. Yes, we are okay, like taking a day at a time. We think William has worked out that he is King in this house and his demands have to be met, that very second! Of course, we are simply pleased he is here to demand ❤️

It's good to know you are muddling through the loss of sweet Hamish. It's something we all must go through when we lose a pet or a human. We just have to take one day at a time and accept when we have a really rough day. Hoping each day will get a little easier for all of you. I too have been keeping all of you in my thoughts.
It's funny how our fur kids "demand" certain things. We just had our fireplace redone. There were floor tiles(I know, right!) on the face and we had rock put on like it SHOULD have been done in the first place. (In my humble opinion, of course!) Yesterday was the last day and they were coming to seal the rock and grout. It was a chilly 32 degrees F in the north Georgia mountains and Sakura was sitting on the hearth as if to say, "Woman, it's cold. Turn this heatbox ON!" And I had to explain that I could not because it would heat up the rocks and then they could not be sealed. The heat WAS on in the house, mind you! She got mad and went under the bed to sulk! So yes, cute they may be, they certainly can have their fits. And I think it only makes us love them more.

Sue, Thank you so much, we are getting there, slowly. I can well imagine Sakura with a sulk, after all, why do the humans not ‘Listen’ to demands. Oh bless them ❤️
