No, not really. But I seem to have deviated somewhat from dogs to cats! Only temporary I can assure you, however, I did this sketch and thought I would add it here anyway. It does Link in a round-about way though.
Our son and his fiancée not only have Barney-pup, but 2 cats as well. The felines, Bella & Jacob, are lovely and when I popped to their house recently, Bella was on the step as if waiting for me ... (she wasn't actually, but it did look like it when I arrived - I like to fool myself sometimes). I would have loved to have spent more time making a fuss of her, but time was against me and I made a mental note of the way she was sitting...hence the sketch, which gave me an excuse to use my dip-pen and play with ink - as if I need an excuse!

Normal is just a setting on the washing machine! You do whatever you want! I'll still come by to visit! :D
Nice to see cats for a change but please bring back the doggies :)
Robin.....Thanks, that’s good to know :)
Eileen....absolutely...doggies will be back most definitely :)
XO always!
As a died in the wool cat person, this sketch made me smile, Ann! I love dogs too, don't get me wrong, but cats will always win out for me. This could be either one of my two, sitting patiently waiting for a treat or for me to throw one of their stuffies.
Thanks Tammy :)
Sue....I love cats too, we just haven't been able to have one ourselves - either because of the dogs we have had at the time, or because of where we have lived. It's nice to be able to help sometimes for our son and his fiancee, their cats are soooo cute and cuddly. I have done some paintings of Bella & Jacob, it's helped enormously being able to see the real-life models :)
