Should be an easy thing to do since you've got 4 legs and dad's only got two, William!

And as far as mermaids washing dishes. It's something we've said as long as I can remember. The Gulf of Mexico is generally pretty calm. Unless there is a storm coming at us from the west. Then we get some waves, though nothing like they get on the East coast of Florida from the Atlantic and the Pacific has even higher waves. But we do get the days when the foam is quite bad from the churning of the waters. Mermaids washing dishes was something I was told when I was a wee sprout and I've always remembered it.

Sue, this is an education and delightful to find such a lovely phrase. I was brought up near the sea, but it was the English Channel, not many waves there! We live a stones throw of the Atlantic Ocean, now I'll be thinking about the mermaids washing dishes :)

Tammy, sorry you haven't been online for two weeks! I'm guessing that all is better now and your internet is mended. Enjoy the catch up :)

Eileen....so right. William makes sure he catches up in the hope he can play tennis ball some more before going home ;)

Robin...it doesn't happen that often! lol

Judy, Thanks for saying. Getting the light means putting in the darks, and it’s those darks I battle with. I always feel they will be Too dark! Glad you like it 🙂

Sandy, Thanks so much. Everyone’s comments mean a lot and encouraging to me. 🙂
