I have been reminded of a painting I did ages ago...

Did this with one load up of watercolour (Burnt Sienna), enough paint to complete an outline and drew this little chap.  No pencil outline.  Whilst the watercolour was still wet, I added a darker mix (Burnt Sienna + Burnt Umber) to define shading and detail.  Finally, and after the first wash was dry, I added the final details, eye/nose.  Job done

“Posing Hamish”

Hamish is so "photogenic" no matter the medium you use, Ann!
