They are mesmerising aren't they Sue. We see this air ambulance every so often down here at the beach (usually due to surfer accidents), but it always makes us stop and watch :)

Robin...he has no control over them, lol

We have a lot of helicopters flying around here too. The National Guard has a base at our nearby airport. But those are mostly the really big types of choppers called Chinooks with two rotors. Sometimes we see the smaller ones that the local News crews fly in, or the rescue ones taking the injured to the hospital. I think I would be pretty scared to be as close to any kind of chopper as you were. Oh, and it almost looked like your ears were about ready for take-off in that wind too, William! Wow!

Sounds like you see a lot of helicopters Chester. We get the occasional big one sometimes, but that particular helicopter is now based in Wales (not far as the crow flies from us).

Eileen, he probably thought it was his taxi home! (we are talking William here after all) LOL.
